1. George's Aloe Vera Supplement, 128 Fluid Ounce

5.0 - Works to calm horse ulcers.
I decided to give this a try for my horse's ulcers. Within 10 days there was a marked improvement. I will continue to use for this purpose. He's getting 4 ounces a day. Currently using in conjunction with Omeprazole. He was on Omeprazole for a year, adding the aloe has made a big difference.
5.0 - The best aloe vera juice on the market
I have lower stomach problems and this aloe vera juice is the only aloe vera juice out on the market that actually works to healed me from the inside out. What they advertise is what you got it taste like spring water it's perfect there's no odor to it whatsoever and if you ever need something to heal your stomach if you have stomach ulcers if you have lower intestinal issues or IBS this juice is for you highly recommended product wouldn't go with anybody else
5.0 - Helpful and healing -- no bad taste!
This juice is great! There's no bad taste, in fact, there's very little flavor at all. Three ounces of this (once in the morning and once at night) helps heal ulcers. My mother-in-law was able to get off her prescription heartburn medication after drinking a couple of ounces of this several times per day.
4.0 - Nine Dollars cheaper than local health stores
I use this product to treat my thoroughbred horses for ulcers, 60cc per feeding. Need to get it at best price. This is best I've found.
5.0 - This aloe is great, I keep it in the fridge
This aloe is great, I keep it in the fridge. I bought it first many years ago when my daughter was diagnosed with 3 small ulcers. Instead of putting other chemicals in her. I had her drink a small glass a couple of times a day and also when her stomach was hurting. After a time she had no more pain. Now we use it for stomach upsets or just when your stomach is just not feeling right.
5.0 - A+++++++ I am totally amazed! THANK YOU!!!!!
Simply Amazed! I had a stomach scope 2 years ago because I couldn't eat because it would cause pain, I had horrible acid reflux, among other symptoms. They found I have gastritis, a hernia, bleeding ulcers and acid reflux was wearing away my throat. So they put me on Protonix, and told me I can only take it 3 months at a time, quit take zantac for three more months then back to Protonix. As of a few weeks ago none of the meds were working, simply miserable and worried they would scope again and find things are worse. I started using the Aloe a week ago, stopped all the prescription meds completely before the Aloe, Now keep in mind I have suffered for over 2 years, within a week of taking the Aloe my symptoms are going away, my throat felt better and cough stopped after day 3, I do not have pain when I eat as of day 5, I feel better overall. I am simply amazed and wished I would have known about this earlier. This stuff is amazing! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
5.0 - Doctor Recommended
Tastes like water, works great for a super mild remedy for those who have ulcers/stomach, esophagus, duodenum irritation that causes irregularity.
5.0 - When you've tried everything for inflammatioon Try this.
I suffered from apthous ulcers since infancy. I am now in my 60's.
5.0 - Honestly, this just tastes like water.
It is an easy to take liquid that tastes like water, so it is extremely easy to drink. Aloe has many medicinal uses because it can function as an antimicrobial and a healing agent. Those with stomach ulcers and acid reflux may benefit from ingesting aloe. In fact, I purchased it for my mom who had acid reflux so severe that she was seeing a gastroenterologist to manage it. The aloe in conjunction with a new proton pump inhibitor helped her heal enough that her flare-ups are few and far between. It is definitely a product I would recommend and this brand, in particular, is both superior in quality and flavorless.

2. Natural Factors - DGL Licorice Root 400mg, Supports the Integrity of the Stomach Lining, 180 Chewable Tablets

View this supplement on Amazon.com

5.0 - DGL
Natural way of treating stomach issues!! Love it. If you have ulcers, this is for you
5.0 - Two or three bottles required to heal most ulcers or8 sores.
I experienced a burning stomach after a protein meal and during sleep. My first two DGL bottles stopped the burning, but returned in a short time. Again I purchased two bottles and the burning stomach hasn't returned after 6 months. I used DGL 20 minutes before the meal and ACV after.
5.0 - taste great-helps my ulcers
chewable, with a great licorice taste. I have stomach ulcers and keep these in my purse and take about an hour prior to eating. will buy again
5.0 - it is great for adrenal stress
DGL has saved my stomach! I used to get ulcers and since I have taken one tablet daily, the past 4 years have been ulcer free! Plus, it is great for adrenal stress!
4.0 - Good but has sugars
I have GERD, IBS, Ulcers and certain forms of sugars are tolerable but Gi specialist suspects Celiac, Pelvic Floor dysfunction and Gastropersis. Chewing starts the digestion process by producing saliva, so DGL powders miss that process. So far I haven't found a DGL chewable tablet without some form of sugar. I chew these 20 minutes before a meal and also use an herbal supplement my Gi recommended along with 20UMF rated manuka. This helps but would be much happy without the sugar...who cares about taste when you're dying in GI pain!
5.0 - Takes care of my digestive problems
This product is like a miracle for me... it eliminates so many of the symptoms of acid reflux (GERD) and stomach acidity that causes pain. I do not have ulcers, but do have GERD and IBS. The literature I have read concerning DGL supports the theory that this supplement helps heal gastric membranes. I feel it does just that. Neither Tums nor or other chewable tablets give the results that this provides. If I go a day or two without using DGL, my stomach pain returns. The Natural Factors DGL tastes good (sometimes a bottle of tablets may not taste very good -- especially other brands). The bottle of DGL received from Amazon not only tasted very nice, but the tablets were also very fresh.

3. Enzymatic Therapy DGL Ultra Extra Strength Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice, German Chocolate Flavor, Chewable Tablets, Gluten-Free, 90 Count

4.0 - good stuff
Have peptic ulcers and it does have a calming effect on the stomach right before meal time. so happy to use to it.
5.0 - Great for GERD symptom relief
About two months ago, I came down with rapidly intensifying GERD. I went to a doctor who prescribed standard over-the-counter antacids (Prevacid) that I should take for two weeks. Having talked to a few other people who had previously suffered from ulcers (as well as reading standard internet fare on the subject) I decided to also pick up some of these DGL tablets to protect myself from the acid discomfort and to ease my body back into being off antacids after the two weeks. I continuously took them during and after the antacid course and they seemed to ease my symptoms and I never had the wave of acid overproduction that sometimes happens once you're off the antacids. I would take it in the mornings briefly after waking up so I wouldn't have empty stomach pain, and it worked well. So if you're feeling some discomfort, this product can certainly help--I really think it did.
5.0 - DGL Ultra German Choc
I love this product! It works, and the German Chocolate is so yummy - in fact, this flavor doesn't even resemble the taste of the regular flavored product at all (thankfully!). I highly recommend this product. It's great for those times when your stomach is just not digesting your food properly and you have a belly ache that just won't go away. As a side note, DGL is highly recommended and effective for people with ulcers (peptic/gastric/duodenal)caused by the H.pylori bacteria. DGL is composed of several flavonoids which have been shown to inhibit H.pylori. DGL is extremely safe and is less expensive than the standard treatments. Research it on the internet!
5.0 - Ulcers be gone
Great help with indigestion and issues with ulcers
5.0 - Five Stars
This works pretty well in combination with L-Glutamin and aloe vera powder for gastric ulcers.
5.0 - Good for gastro pains & tastes decent
I am battling a stomach ulcer and as I started taking these as needed before meals or if I felt pain. They have definitely helped with my symptoms and taste fine. I was also afraid they wouldn’t mask the licorice or would just taste gross but I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend if you’re suffering from gastritis, GERD or ulcer pain. My ulcers aren’t gone but this has made things more manageable while my stomach heals.
5.0 - Life Saver
I used this product to get rid of an ulcer in my esophagus, so I took my mother off Nexium and put her on DGL and it healed up the ulcers in her stomach.

4. Nature's Way Marshmallow Root 480 mg, 100 Capsules

View this supplement on Amazon.com

5.0 - Marshmallow root is used for dry cough!
Marshmallow root is used for dry cough, inflammation in the stomach and stomach ulcers, UTI's, constipation and diarrhea. Marshmallow leaf can also be used externally, applied to the skin as a poultice for insect bites.
5.0 - Amazing supplement for Gastritis
I have been plagued with various Gastrointestinal issues since 2011 (Hiatal Hernia, GERD, Gastritis, and Ulcers). During an extremely painful bout with Gastritis in 2013, I embarked on a quest to find natural supplements to sooth the insanely painful burning and gnawing in my stomach. After a few days of taking two capsules of Slippery Elm and Marshmallow Root before meals, I noticed a substantial decrease in the burning pain. My stomach went from feeling like a bloated angry ball of hell-fire to a much more tolerable sizzle. The pain wasn't gone completely but I knew the Slippery Elm and Marshmallow Root were working. After a few weeks of Slippery Elm, Marshmallow Root, and Aloe Vera Juice twice daily, 90% of my Gastritis symptoms disappeared.
5.0 - Gets rid of pain during urination for interstitial cystitis sufferers!!
Great for IC patients. I have suffered on and off for 20 years. I have been diagnosed with every female problem know to man before this disease had a name. Back then they had me on cranberry juice and didn't know diet can effect it. The 6 female or urinary specialist I went to all threw there hands up said they didn't know, it was in my head or told me I had Urinary syndrome AKA we don't know! I finally got diagnosed 12 years ago by a new doctor that moved to town. He knew exactly what I had and to confirm did a exploratory and stretched my bladder as well. His finding were worst than expected. I was one of the 8% that developed hunners ulcers. The worst case he had ever seen in his 20 years in business. I was horrified and felt there was no hope. I went on strict IC diet and was put on elmiron which caused severe nausea but back then they didn't know side effects of elimiron. I was in so much pain I assumed the doc was correct that it was just my endometriosis causing everything. I went through process of a total hysterectomy (which I felt I was a genie pig) at the expert advice of this doctor. I now believe the nausea was side effects of the elmiron......I trusted him and did the surgery out of desperation. I was told it would help and I would have a normal life, I seen this as hope because I was vomiting every morning from the pain and urinating 60'times a day. He was mistaken and I had horrible debilitating pain of IC along with all the terrible side effects of surgically induced menopause. They don't tell you what happens after just that you will feel better. In and out of ER with thick bloody urine. Never once given pain medication because if you can't see it then Your treated like your crazy. I did the bladder instillations with lidocaine which helped but again there are side effects. Long term installations are dangerous on bladder and I started leaking urine which is a horrible embarrassment for any woman let alone a 35 year old. Doctors never tell you long term effects! ( Arctic Angelica did stop this ailment which I started taking this year) I finally found a IC support group which gave me hope. I tested suggestions from forums I got on the IC network... Things I've tried below that seem to work.
4.0 - Amazing Healing Property
I love this stuff! Different members of my family have had acid reflux and we take this and it helps with the pain and has even helped heal the ulcers. The G.I. dr's have been in shock that this along with diet changes have worked so well,
5.0 - ulcers
my husband has really bad ulcers and he has started taking this when he eats and it has helped him out so much. We will be getting more for sure

5. DGL Licorice 380mg 200 Capsules - Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Root Extract - Nutrissence

View this supplement on Amazon.com

5.0 - A must-have for stomach problems - do your own research!
I developed an apparent stomach ulcer. The gastroenterologist gave me a prescription for one of those drugs that suppresses stomach acid. I don;t like taking prescription meds with all their side effects and I had read that once you start taking these meds it helps as long as you continue taking it; as soon as you stop, the problem comes back. So I did my research and discovered that the problem is older people secrete less acid. A person needs sufficient acid in their stomach to signal the valve between the stomach and esophagus to close. If the valve doesn't get the signal because the acid is too weak, it will not close and the result is heartburn and GERD. Also, ulcers are not caused by too much acid or young people would have ulcers instead of older people who have decreased acid. The problem is that the protective lining of the stomach has eroded, allowing the acid to make the ulcer. So the remedy is NOT to reduce the acid with prescription drugs (a great Big Pharma money-maker that will keep you buying for life), but to treat the stomach lining and give it a chance to heal. So I developed my plan of self-treatment and it has worked for me. This product is one of the supplements/herbs that I have been taking and it has been very soothing. I am now back to normal, about 4-6 weeks later. I am a registered nurse and love it when I can cure myself without prescriptions!
5.0 - Great for stomach and prevention of duodenal ulcers
Great product that works amazingly well. Take for reoccurring bleeding ulcer. Good 3 years ulcer returned and I was in hospital every 6 months. Been 8 months and no ulcer bleeds. Great for.stomach including upset stomach and a must for duodenal ulcer patients
5.0 - Buy it.

5.0 - Good supplement

6. Now Foods Liquid Chlorophyll, 16 Ounces

View this supplement on Amazon.com

4.0 - Mint flavor ruined a great product
Mint flavor ruined a great tasting product in my humble opinion. However, there is research to support peppermint oil helping to heal colon problems including diverticulitis and ulcers. I have just ordered it again for colon problems and will update with results.
5.0 - Chlorophyll A Helpful, Soothing Tonic
My first experience with mint-flavored liquid chlorophyll was about 25 years ago when I began to develop an ulcer. I had read somewhere (this was before access to internet) that liquid chlorophyll helps to eliminate ulcers -- and indeed it seemed to work for me within a 48-hour period. I took about an ounce (or shotglass full) of the product first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The mint in the liquid is very soothing as it moves down the throat. I also used the product for heartburn. Currently I am dealing with an IBS condition. In addition to other dietary modifications, once again I am relying on liquid chlorophyll -- and I am experiencing gradual improvement. Of course I cannot substantiate any of this medically -- it's just my experience. As far as I know, there are no ill side effects to liquid chlorophyll. However, it will turn your tongue green -- as well as the fecal matter. It's a good practice to rinse or brush teeth immediately after sipping the tonic to avoid potentially dyeing your teeth. If you elect to try it, be sure to get the mint-flavored product, which is pleasant to taste. The regular liquid chlorophyll is not!
5.0 - At my worst I had about 13 at one time that were ...
I've suffered most of my life from recurring mouth ulcers. At my worst I had about 13 at one time that were in my mouth and running down my throat. The drs didn't know what caused them and couldn't do anything to help. One day I went to a local herbal shop because I was desperately seeking a solution to the pain that was making it impossible to eat; the lady at the store suggested liquid chlorophyll because she had one other customer who had said that it helped with her mouth ulcers. So I tried and have been shocked that a teaspoon a day keeps the ulcers away. It won't necessarily cure your ulcers once you get them, but if I take it regularly I don't even get ulcers anymore. I've tried a couple of the other brands and this is by far my favorite for taste. It does taste a little like you're drinking minty grass, but you get used to the flavor and for me it is totally worth it.

8. Pure Science DGL Licorice Root 500mg - Contains 10% Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root - Supports Digestive & Respiratory Function - 50 Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Vegetarian Capsules

View this supplement on Amazon.com

5.0 - Homeopathic stomach relief from DGL licorice
Vegetarian capsules manufactured in USA. I purchased these for my husband as I have read that licorice dgl is used to relieve discomfort from indigestion, heartburn, stomach ulcers and canker sores. He has stomach issues so I figured why not give it a try. I did receive a discount for review nod may I say it must be working for him because I ha overt even had to remind him to take it. Any medicine that is extra he refuses to take without a reminder and although this not medicine it is still an extra capsule to put in the mouth. The fact that he takes it all by himself suggests that it does provide the comfort I read about.
4.0 - So Far So GOOD!
I ordered and quickly received the Pure Science DGL Licorice 500mg - Contains 10% Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root - Supports Digestive & Respiratory Function - 50 Vegetarian Capsules. The bottle arrived with a quality control seal, and inner protective seal. For best results take one (1) capsules daily preferably with meals or as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not exceed the recommended dose. The bottle consist of fifty (50) capsules or fifty (50) servings per container. My daughter deals with the annoyance of hyperacidity and burning stomach, and it's not an occasional occurrence but a chronic thing. Usually she dealt with burning stomach or heartburn is to take antacids like Tums, Tagamet or Prilosec. All of these medications work by reducing the stomach acidity. Tums contain alkaline ingredients like calcium carbonate that directly neutralizes the HCL acid in the stomach for a short period of time (because obviously then the stomach produces more). Tagamet and Zantac work by blocking the H2 histamine receptors, which regulate the acid production on the stomach. They provide a long lasting reduction in stomach acidity, because they lower the production of acid instead of acting on the acid itself. Prilosec and similar drugs belong to the class of the proton pump inhibitors, which again works by reducing the production of acid by the stomach, in a long lasting, and more aggressive way. One problem that people (including often doctors) don't understand is that when people experience heartburn or burning stomach, it's often not caused by an actual excess of acidity in the stomach, but by a damage of the layer of mucus that protects the stomach lining. The stomach is designed to have a very high acidity, both to digest foods and to protect against pathogens that can be ingested with the food, because most are killed by the highly acidic environment of the stomach. Acids damage tissues so normally there is a layer of acid-resistant mucus that creates a buffer between the acid inside the stomach and the stomach itself. As long as this barrier is in place everything is good. The mucus production, however, can be reduced by several different factors, like use of aspirin and similar NSAIDs, stress, steroid drugs, etc. If the protective mucus is reduced, the stomach lining will become vulnerable to the corrosive action of the stomach acids, which will create burning, pain, etc. It seems clear that the best approach is to increase the production of protective mucus, rather than reducing the stomach acidity, yet all the official therapies focus on reducing the stomach acidity. This, by the way, is a terrible idea (unless it's a legitimate case of hyperclorridia or excessive stomach acid) because not only does it make you more vulnerable to food borne pathogens, but it can contribute to an overgrowth of H. Pylori, if that's already an issue for you. Helicobacter Pylori is a bacteria commonly found in the stomach that can overcolonize lead to stomach ulcers. H Pylori prevents a less acidic environment, and it can actually reduce the ph of the stomach acid. So, if you are taking anything to reduce stomach acid, you are actually doing H Pylori a favor, for which it will repay you with some excruciating ulcers. Additionally, reducing stomach acid also impairs your digestion and assimilation of vitamins and nutrients. Vitamin B12, for instance, requires a certain acidity for it to be absorbed. Same thing for iron and many others. The only thing that is known to increase the production of the protective stomach mucus is licorice, which DGL is made from. (By the way, I am talking about REAL licorice, not the fake "licorice" flavored candies that are actually flavored with anise and bear no resemblance to real licorice.). So far she have not had any side effects. Her stomach has not bothered me. The licorice seems to be of good quality and there does not appear to be anything wrong with it. I would recommend it to others.
5.0 - Licorice is used for various digestive system complaints including stomach ...
Licorice is used for various digestive system complaints including stomach ulcers, heartburn, colic, and ongoing inflammation of the lining of the stomach (chronic gastritis).
5.0 - Licorice has many healing properties!
I purchased the Pure Science DGL Licorice 500mg because it supports your digestive health and helps with Respiratory health...most specifically coughs. I suffer in both of these areas. Licorice comes from a plant and has been used for years for healing purposes. There is documentation of its use in early Egyptian history. It is effective for ulcers and also to help clear excess phlegm from the lungs. One capsule a day is recommended and there are 50 capsules in the bottle - so almost a 2 month supply. Licorice also helps support the immune system and gives support to your adrenals. It may interfere with some prescription meds, so be sure and do your research before using.

9. Aloe Life - Aloe Gold Whole Leaf Juice Concentrate, Supports Occasional Indigestion, Bloating, Regularity, Energy and Optimum Health (32 oz)

4.0 - Good for the Gut
Aloe juice contains mucilagenous polysaccharides that, in conjunction with a high-fiber diet, are beneficial for people with irritable bowel syndrome, diverticular disease, ulcers, and other digestive disorders. Problem is, you have to drink a fair amount of it to benefit, and the flavor leaves someting to be desired.
5.0 - i love it!
You get used to the taste and it really helps if you have an acidic stomach. No more acid reflux or ulcers!
5.0 - Works really well.
No sugar, but you get used to the taste and prefer no sugar. I take aloe with meals so I can drink coffee and eat spicy foods without complications like ulcers. It works better than antacids.

5.0 - ... of ten for those people who have stomach problems like acidity when eating hot peppers or hot sauce
This product is a ten out of ten for those people who have stomach problems like acidity when eating hot peppers or hot sauce. It is also good for ulcers. I have used it for ten years. This company sent the product quickly.
5.0 - Very good purchase
This stuff works amazing. I had a couple of ulcers a few months ago. Using this before meals for a couple of months has done wonders. They seem to be fully healed. I feel so much better. It really does help my stomach. I would recommend this stuff to anyone. So much better than the prescription medication they try and force on you.
5.0 - Exceptional product
These tablets are excellent. My wife took them for 8 weeks and she says she feels great. She had really bad reflux no matter what she ate and also had both types of ulcers. Her last endoscopy showed how bad her stomach was. You could barely see pink. She had been on prescription drugs for a long time but they didn't solve her problems. After 8 weeks of two tablets a day, her symptoms are gone. She will be doing another endoscopy in the next few weeks to see how it is but her pain is gone, she has no more reflux and she has been able to eat whatever she wants at any time of the day. This product worked extremely well for her and I recommend it to anyone who has reflux and/or stomach ulcers.
